Occupational Therapy at KidzPlay Therapy is provided by Danika McKay from Rhythmic OT.
An occupational therapist can provide support for:
- Delayed fine motor skills eg. grasping, reaching, drawing, cutting
- Feeding difficulties
- Functional difficulties such as dressing, bathing, toileting
- Sensory processing differences
- Social skill development
- Functional assistance equipment needs
Occupational therapy intervention may consist of clinic based consultations, home or school visits or a combination of both.
