Gross Motor Programs

Gross motor skills (running, jumping, balance, ball skills) are important physical skills that are required for your child to have success in everyday activities. Children need to develop a range of physical abilities including core stability, strength, balance, coordination and motor planning in order to achieve success with gross motor skills.

Gross motor programs aim to build physical ability and confidence with movement so that children can have success in participating in everyday childhood activities such as climbing the playground at school, joining the local soccer team, swimming in the school carnival, riding a bike at the local park.

KidzPlay Therapy Physiotherapists are able to provide 1:1 intervention for gross motor development through gross motor circuit programs at our clinic in Bundall or in the community at school or kindergartens.

We are currently taking expressions of interest for a small group gross motor program on Wednesdays at 4pm.
